Steve Dundon – Director & CEO

An experienced, passionate and innovative television professional, Steve Dundon has quickly built his companies to a prominent and respected position in the Australian television industry, with a reputation for high quality and cost effective television production.

Steve has more than 20 years experience in the entertainment industry.

Starting his television career at Tonight Live on the Seven Network, Steve continued as a producer for that network for several years working on event and music based programming. He accepted a position as Executive Producer (Asia-Pacific) with Sportsworld Media Group – a publicly listed company on the London Stock Exchange and was responsible for the creation and production of weekly international sports magazine programs as well as creating local brand funded programming including: Adidas Andrew Denton Specials – In The Deep End with Ian Thorpe, Pure Gold and Olympic Debrief. He created on-going series Chilli Factor to the Max – a brand funded extreme sports lifestyle program for the Ten Network, Pepsi Live series for the Ten Network and Search For A Supermodel Series also for the Ten Network.

Steve launched Cornerbox early in 2002, with a vision to creating innovative, quality television. As the direct license holder of Search For A Supermodel with Ford Models in New York, the first Cornerbox production was the third series of Search For a Supermodel, which received a Logie nomination. Since then Steve has grown Cornerbox into a diverse and successful television production powerhouse.

He is dedicated to working with like-minded creative producers in developing innovative global programming and making Cornerbox the home of creative excellence in Australia.

David Galloway – Executive Producer

David Galloway commenced his career as a cadet journalist at the Seven Network in 1984, quickly becoming a Line Producer for Seven Nightly News and 11AM. Moving to Network Ten David became a senior producer on national morning program Good Morning Australia from 1987 to 1991, as well as accepting a role as a senior producer for the Australian coverage of the Seoul Olympic Games in 1988.

Between 1991 and 1995 David was both Series Producer and Associate Producer on the program Beyond 2000 for the Ten and Seven networks and the Discovery Channel in the USA.

More recently David has been the Series Producer of This Fabulous Century, the Series Producer of Olympic Sunrise and Executive Producer of the highly acclaimed True Stories, all for the Seven Network.

David joined Cornerbox in 2006 and with Michael Horrocks oversees the companies Sydney operation.

Michael Horrocks – Executive Producer

Michael’s career in television started as a presenter on the childrens program Cartoon Connection and on the iconic pop music program Video Hits.

Moving into production Michael has worked successfully at the Seven Network for almost a decade with positions on a number of network programs across a number of genres.

Michael was Senior Producer on Seven’s Salute to Comedy and the Series Producer on Groundforce, Kidspeak and Where Are They Now.

Most recently Michael was the Creator and Executive Producer on Undercover Angels (hosted by Ian Thorpe), and Big Bite. In 2005, prior to joining Cornerbox Michael was Series Producer on Dragons Den.

In conjunction with David Galloway, Michael oversees the Sydney arm of Cornerbox as well as being the Series Producer of the first series of Cornerbox’s comedy series The Wedge.

Andrew Watt – Head of Commercial Operations

Andrew Watt has 18 years experience in many areas of the media and entertainment businesses.

Andrew commenced his working life as a solicitor specializing in Entertainment Law before taking up a managerial position with the Paul Dainty Corporation.

In 1987 Andrew left PDC to start his own magazine publishing company Red Rocks Publications Pty Ltd, which launched long running street press publications InPress and Zebra. Simultaneously Andrew created and operated the entertainment venue South Yarra Saloon which won several AHA Awards for Excellence.

After selling both these businesses in 1997 Andrew moved to New York and into talent management, with his own company Raven’s Nest Management Pty Ltd. Raven’s Nest clients have included Julia Darling, 30 Odd Foot of Grunts (featuring Russell Crowe), Danielle Spencer and Anita Spring. These recording artists have had major CD and/or DVD releases both in Australia and in over 40 international territories.

Returning to Australia, Andrew created the new television format “Bark-Off” and was Co-Executive Producer of a ten episode series of that program on the Nine Network.

Andrew commenced with Cornerbox at the beginning of 2004. His role includes legal and business affairs, creative development and management of sponsor and corporate relationships with the likes of Ford, Fosters Group, TAC, Zoos Victoria, Skilled, GMC, Uncle Bens and Legion Interactive and the development of international sales of Cornerbox programs.

Kevin Manning – Head of Production

Kevin has over thirty years of experience in television as a producer, director, cameraman and editor and has been a valued contributor to nearly 100 programs including , Compassionate Rage (ABC TV), Wild Valley (ABC TV), Talk to The Animals (Seven) , Bark-Off (Nine), The Hothouse (Ten) and numerous Grundy Television productions.

Kevin’s experience includes just about every aspect of television production and he has worked at both television networks and production companies as well as completing many commercial and documentary projects with his own company Hero Productions.
